After Paier College of Art and a career as an illustrator with Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, Lynn moved to Boston for her own successful freelance illustration business. During that time she worked in Paris for two months where an obsession for her next career challenge began. Every visit to the local patisseries, she fell more in love with the sublime flavors and artistic perfection of French pastry. 

For sixteen years now Lynn has been working and learning from talented pastry chefs, starting with the owners of the Pralines Bake Shop after relocating to Connecticut were she grew up, she continued learning with Creative Cakes by Donna, Mystic Market West and the A Thyme to Cook company. Before the start of her position as Pastry Chef for Aspen Restaurant in Old Saybrook, she was given an amazing opportunity to learn from the very talented and her now good friend Franck Iglesias, the French Executive Pastry Chef for the Foxwoods Casino. Later she was offered and accepted the position as Pastry Chef in charge of all wedding cakes for the Lake of Isles and the Foxwoods Casino itself.

Now Lynn is able to offer the artful designing and personal connection to her clients that she felt lacked in her pastry career. She is sought after for her customized cakes by event planners, wedding couples and people with discerning taste looking for a personal experience.
